The 20-year-old has recently resumed first-team training, however, and will provide another defensive option for Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Foyth joined Spurs from Estudiantes in August 2017, signing a five-year contract with the Premier League club.
The defender made eight appearances for Tottenham in all competitions last term, and is highly-regarded at the club.
