Wolves’ Conor Coady, Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson, West Ham’s Mark Noble and Declan Rice, Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Newcastle United’s Jamaal Lascelles, Arsenal’s Rob Holding and Brighton’s Glenn Murray were the given options.
It was the Wolves defender, Coady, who received by far the most votes. The 25-year-old has been in fine form since Wolves’ promotion to the Premier League, helping to turn Molineux into a fortress in the top flight.
